Adventures in photography...

got a tip from someone about trying polaroids in my holga without using an actual holgaroid backing... basically you find a completely dark place, open a polaroid package and fold one of them and put it in the back of the holga, close it up, shoot the photo, go back into the dark, unload the photo, then take a rolling pin and pop the chemical pouches on the bottom of the polaroid and push the chemicals up to the top of the photo... sounds easy enough, but it's hard as hell... at least it was for me... here's some attempts... more soon.

first try... you can see a bit of my shirt, but the chemicals didn't make it up high enough

second try... it's upside down, you can see a bit of my hat, and eye/face... still not pushed up high enough...

third try... actually came out, but still no way to know how I'm pushing the chemicals around or what will turn out and what won't... just luck...

this one almost came out amazing... you can see the trees, the white ledge, and the very top of my cat's head and his two ears (black)

same failed story... you can see some of the flowers on the right... but I'm still just as hopeless trying to expose them............

After exposure you should put the film pack back in a regular Polaroid camera to send it through the rollers that are built for Polaroid film.
